Dormir pouco ou ter noites \u201cmal dormidas\u201d condicionam a chamada&nbsp;<\/font><\/font><strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">sa\u00fade do sono<\/font><\/font><\/strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">. O sono \u00e9 um processo fisiol\u00f3gico natural e indispens\u00e1vel \u00e0 boa sa\u00fade intelectual e, consequentemente, ao grau de produtividade, ao bom desempenho do sistema imunol\u00f3gico, \u00e0 manuten\u00e7\u00e3o de todos os processos de reequil\u00edbrio e \u00e0 regenera\u00e7\u00e3o das nossas c\u00e9lulas.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ao conhecermos os&nbsp;<\/font><\/font><strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">mecanismos do sono<\/font><\/font><\/strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">, como o ciclo circadiano e a press\u00e3o do sono, poderemos tomar medidas para melhorar a qualidade do nosso sono. Todas as fun\u00e7\u00f5es do nosso corpo s\u00e3o c\u00edclicas. Assim, o sono tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 composto de&nbsp;<\/font><\/font><strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">ciclos de sono<\/font><\/font><\/strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">&nbsp;e cada ciclo \u00e9 composto de fases. Existem duas fases principais <\/font><\/font><strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">do sono:&nbsp;<\/font><\/font><\/strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">a fase profunda, conhecida como fase n\u00e3o-REM e a fase REM, uma fase mais superficial.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\">O que \u00e9 o Sono?\u200b<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O&nbsp;<strong>sono \u00e9<\/strong>&nbsp;um estado fisiol\u00f3gico natural e indispens\u00e1vel \u00e0 vida, \u00e9 um componente primordial da vida e, portanto, da&nbsp;<strong>sa\u00fade f\u00edsica e mental<\/strong>, sem ele morrer\u00edamos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Os&nbsp;<strong>processos biol\u00f3gicos do sono<\/strong>&nbsp;s\u00e3o regulados pela press\u00e3o do sono e pelo ciclo circadiano. Estes s\u00e3o os fen\u00f3menos que nos levam a sentir sono, a adormecer, a dormir e, no final, a acordar. Assim, dormir o suficiente e em hor\u00e1rio adequado, ir\u00e1 fortalecer o sistema imunol\u00f3gico, a regula\u00e7\u00e3o hormonal, o equil\u00edbrio cardiovascular, a regenera\u00e7\u00e3o cerebral com repercuss\u00f5es cognitivas (mem\u00f3ria, concentra\u00e7\u00e3o, toma de decis\u00f5es, criatividade, etc.) e a resposta emocional aos desafios di\u00e1rios (maior serenidade, toler\u00e2ncia, resili\u00eancia, humor).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De destacar que durante as idades de crescimento, a hormona do crescimento \u00e9 segregada durante o sono com preponder\u00e2ncia nas primeiras horas do anoitecer. Assim, crian\u00e7as que dormem pouco e que v\u00e3o dormir tarde, ter\u00e3o comprometidos o seu crescimento e a robustez da sua sa\u00fade f\u00edsica e mental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Os Mecanismos do Sono \u200b<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Toda a natureza, toda a vida neste planeta \u00e9 regida por ciclos que criam ritmos. \u00c9 a garantia dos ritmos que permite o equil\u00edbrio da vida e a conserva\u00e7\u00e3o dos ecossistemas. N\u00f3s somos natureza e somos formados por um gigante ecossistema de c\u00e9lulas e estas t\u00eam ritmos e a preserva\u00e7\u00e3o dos mesmos \u00e9 vital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O nosso ritmo di\u00e1rio alterna entre o estado de vig\u00edlia e o sono. Somos regidos pelo <strong>ciclo <\/strong>ou<strong> ritmo circadiano, <\/strong>que mais n\u00e3o \u00e9 que um rel\u00f3gio interno em que cada \u00f3rg\u00e3o e sistema tem o seu pr\u00f3prio hor\u00e1rio de funcionamento e de repouso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O <strong>ritmo circadiano, <\/strong>que indica \u201cquando\u201d dormir, \u00e9 regido pelo hor\u00e1rio solar, existindo uma sincroniza\u00e7\u00e3o entre a luminosidade do dia (claro-escuro) e o hor\u00e1rio interno do nosso corpo. O GABA, outro neurotransmissor, promove o relaxamento e a prepara\u00e7\u00e3o para dormir, atrav\u00e9s da redu\u00e7\u00e3o da atividade cerebral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fases do Sono<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As <strong>fases do sono <\/strong>s\u00e3o est\u00e1gios fisiol\u00f3gicos distintos a que o corpo est\u00e1 sujeito durante o sono. Os dois est\u00e1gios principais s\u00e3o: o <strong>sono REM<\/strong> <strong>(<em>Rapid Eye Movement<\/em>) e o sono N\u00e3o-REM (NREM), juntos formam um ciclo de sono, composto por estas duas fases. <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>O sono N\u00e3o-REM \u00e9 a fase de dura\u00e7\u00e3o mais longa e \u00e9 composta por tr\u00eas fases: <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>A fase 1 \u00e9 a fase inicial que dura apenas alguns minutos e que corresponde \u00e0 fase de transi\u00e7\u00e3o <\/strong>entre a vig\u00edlia e o sono, durante a qual corpo e mente come\u00e7am a relaxar, a frequ\u00eancia card\u00edaca diminui e os m\u00fasculos relaxam (podendo condicionar movimentos involunt\u00e1rios, de liberta\u00e7\u00e3o de tens\u00e3o muscular).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A fase 2 \u00e9 de sono leve e representa a maior parte do tempo de sono. Nesta fase<\/strong> todo o metabolismo corporal \u00e9 reduzido: redu\u00e7\u00e3o da atividade cerebral, do ritmo card\u00edaco e da temperatura corporal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A fase 3 <\/strong>\u00e9 de <strong>sono profundo<\/strong>. Este \u00e9 o est\u00e1gio mais restaurador e regenerador a n\u00edvel f\u00edsico.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery alignwide has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped dos olhos, e intensa actividade cerebral. Corresponde \u00e0 fase dos sonhos. Esta \u00e9 a fase indispens\u00e1vel \u00e0 consolida\u00e7\u00e3o da mem\u00f3ria (convers\u00e3o da mem\u00f3ria de curto em mem\u00f3ria de longo prazo).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ciclos do Sono: Como Funcionam?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Cada <\/font><\/font><strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">ciclo do sono<\/font><\/font><\/strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> dura entre 90 e 120 minutos e, durante uma noite de sono, teremos entre 4 e 6 ciclos de sono. A <\/font><\/font><strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">dura\u00e7\u00e3o do sono<\/font><\/font><\/strong><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><font style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> varia com a idade e a fase da vida &#8211; quanto menos idade, mais horas de sono s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rias. Rec\u00e9m-nascidos dormem at\u00e9 17 horas; na idade pr\u00e9-escolar, at\u00e9 13 horas; na puberdade, at\u00e9 11 horas; na vida adulta, dormimos entre 6 e 8 horas; em idades mais avan\u00e7adas,
